Job Description
- Duties
- Provide daily care and attention to animals in the kennel
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to schedules
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and animal living areas
- Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff
- Interact with potential adopters
- Experience
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting or pet care environment is preferred
- Knowledge of animal handling techniques and behavior
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
