Are you an experienced pet Stylist with a passion for making pets look and feel their best? Join our friendly, privately owned grooming salon located in the heart of Brooksville/Spring Hill, FL! Our salon is growing fast thanks to a loyal and expanding clientele—and we're looking for a talented Pet Groomer/Stylist to grow with us. We are hiring two Stylist one Full and one Part time.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and safety-conscious Pet Groomer to join our privately owned grooming salon located in the Brooksville/Spring Hill, FL area. As a groomer, you'll be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of dog breeds and sizes in a clean, calm, and safe environment. Must be able to do all sizes of dogs including big and small. We pride ourselves on offering a supportive workplace where creativity is encouraged, safety is a priority, and continuing education is paid for and supported. Flexible schedule. We require two Saturdays a month .
Key Responsibilities:
Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts, de-matting, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and breed-standard styling Ensure safety and well-being of all pets and staff at all times by following proper handling techniques and salon safety protocols Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming area Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients about their pets' needs and grooming preferences Identify potential health concerns and report them to pet owners when necessary Use appropriate tools and products for each pet, tailored to coat type, skin sensitivity, and grooming requirements Respect appointment schedules and manage grooming times effectively Participate in ongoing training and paid continuing education opportunities

Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of professional grooming experience Proficient in grooming all dog sizes and standard breed cuts Creative grooming experience is a plus Knowledge of animal behavior and safe handling practices Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about animal care Ability to lift pets up to 50 lbs (with assistance when needed) Strong communication and customer service skills
