While prior animal care experience is a plus, it is not mandatory. We provide on the job training. Duties Provide daily care and supervision for pets, including feeding, bathing. Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to prevent injury or stress. Engage pets in enrichment activities and basic training such as dog training exercises to promote mental stimulation and good behavior. Maintain detailed records of each pet's health status, treatments, and behavior observations. Ensure kennels and animal areas are clean, organized, and sanitized according to health regulations. Offer excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and care routines. Perform heavy lifting when necessary to manage large animals or equipment safely. Experience Prior experience working with animals in a veterinary clinic, kennel, bathing, facility, or pet sitting environment. Knowledge of dog handling techniques. Familiarity with pet grooming practices and pet care routines enhances overall service quality. Experience in animal restraint and handling ensures safety for both pets and staff. Strong background in customer service within an animal-related setting is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
