Job Description
- Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling pets according to breed standards or owner preferences
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during grooming procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grooming area
- Monitor pets for health issues and report any concerns to pet owners or veterinarians
- Provide basic care such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing
- Interact with pet owners to understand their grooming preferences and ensure customer satisfaction Skills
- Experience in pet grooming or related fields like veterinary assistance or animal care
- Knowledge of different breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques
- Ability to handle animals with care, patience, and confidence
- Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Familiarity with basic pet care practices such as feeding schedules and exercise needs
