Shifts:

6am-1, 1p-7pm Julington Creek Animal Walk is Jacksonville's premier luxury pet resort and we are looking to add new members to our team. We are a family owned business established in 2002 offering boarding, daycare, grooming at our facility with a 9 acre off leash dog park. We are searching for a few hard working, self-motivated individuals that have a PASSION for dogs (and cats)! The Pet Care Specialist position includes, but is not limited to, interacting with dogs (and cats) of all sizes, breeds and temperaments. Caring for pets in whatever capacity necessary. You will learn how to read and understand canine body language as this is a crucial part of our day to day activities when the dogs are in play groups. You will learn how to use the basic functions of our Gingr software program. You will be interacting with our awesome pet parents and last but not least performing an enormous amount of

CLEANING!

If dogs and cats are your passion than you couldn't want for a better way to spend your days. Our daily tasks are very physically and mentally demanding. The pups keep us hopping

ALL DAY LONG!

We are physically in motion from the time we walk through the door until we leave at the end of the day. On average our daily steps total about 6 to 10 miles a day. We work outside in all types of weather because the pups need to go outside. Unless it is lightning, we have outside playtimes. There is some heavy lifting involved...bags of dog food, water buckets, trash containers of dog poo, etc. Our team is made up of hard working, self-motivated individuals that expect new members of the staff to be team players that will pull their weight and be effective members of our growing team. We are looking to hire full or part time. Days of the week can be flexible but some Saturday and Sundays are required. Since we are caring for living, sentient beings our job is one that requires staffing 365 days of the year including ALL holidays. Our staff splits holidays and weekends but the pets need our care
