This role is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys being around dogs, stays calm in a busy environment, and wants to help create a safe, enriching, and positive experience for every pup in our care. You'll receive paid training, hands‑on support, and clear guidance as you learn our routines, safety standards, and gentle handling techniques. Responsibilities Supervise group play with a focus on safety, behavior awareness, and positive interactions Greet dogs and owners with warmth and professionalism Assist with check‑in and check‑out procedures Monitor dog behavior and communicate concerns to the team Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and equipment Provide enrichment, comfort, and individualized attention to dogs Follow all safety protocols, handling guidelines, and facility procedures Support grooming staff as needed (bathing, brushing, towel drying, etc., if applicable) Requirements Must be 17 or older Comfortable working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs Reliable, punctual, and able to follow structured routines Calm, patient, and confident in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Willingness to learn — paid training provided Weekend and holiday availability What We Offer Paid, hands‑on training A supportive, friendly team environment Opportunities for growth in daycare and grooming Employee discounts on services
