Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate part time Kennel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and a strong commitment to providing the highest level of service to our furry clients and their owners. As a Kennel Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the animals in our care while maintaining a clean and organized environment. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs and other pets. Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and equipment to ensure a safe environment. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to veterinary staff or management. Assist with bathing, brushing, and general grooming of pets as needed. Handle dogs safely and effectively during walks or playtime. Support customer service efforts by communicating with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors. Experience Previous experience in animal care or related fields such as pet grooming, dog handling, or veterinary assistance is preferred but not required. Familiarity with animal behavior and training techniques is a plus. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners. Ability to perform heavy lifting as necessary when handling larger breeds or moving supplies. A genuine love for animals combined with patience and empathy towards their needs. Pay:

$14.50 - $16.00 per hour
