Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a strong understanding of pet care practices. You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with both pets and their owners, making customer service skills essential. Responsibilities Bathe and groom pets according to breed-specific standards and client preferences Ensure the safety and comfort of pets during grooming sessions Handle animals with care, using proper restraint techniques when necessary Maintain cleanliness in the grooming area and equipment Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs Assist with any additional pet care tasks as required, including drying, brushing, and nail trimming Monitor the health and behavior of pets during grooming sessions, reporting any concerns to management Skills Experience in dog training or veterinary settings is a plus Strong dog handling skills and knowledge of animal behavior Familiarity with veterinary technician or assistant duties is beneficial Experience in equine care is an asset for those working with larger animals Proficiency in animal handling techniques, including restraint methods Knowledge of pet grooming practices and tools Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling larger breeds or equipment Previous kennel experience or pet sitting background is advantageous Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with pet owners Join our team and contribute to the well-being of pets while enjoying a rewarding career in animal care!
