Job Summary As a groomer for Barkers and Bows you will travel to clients' homes or designated locations to provide professional grooming services tailored to each pet's unique needs. Your expertise in animal handling, pet coat styling, and customer communication will ensure a positive experience for every furry client. Duties Travel to client locations with all necessary grooming equipment and supplies Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards or owner preferences Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques and animal handling skills Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other veterinary-related grooming procedures as needed Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, health concerns, and aftercare instructions Assist with pet care tasks such as light veterinary assistance or administering medication if trained and authorized Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and ensure a safe environment for pets during appointments Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and animal handling Ability to handle various animals safely, including dogs, cats, and other companion animals Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners confidently and professionally Physical ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or pets Familiarity with animal restraint methods and pet nail trimming procedures Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Join us in delivering top-quality mobile grooming services that prioritize animal comfort and owner satisfaction.
