About the
Role:
Our kennel technicians care for boarding dogs and cats, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their stay. Compassion for animals and their owners is a must, as is a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with clients and team members. Arrive on time and reliably for scheduled shifts. Feed, exercise, and provide enrichment for boarded animals. Clean and sanitize dog runs and cat condos. Check pets in and out of boarding, engaging positively with their owners. Administer medications to boarded animals as directed. Perform laundry duties (lots of towels and blankets!). Bathe dogs and perform basic grooming tasks such as brush-outs and toenail trims. Conduct daily cleaning and light maintenance in the boarding area and throughout the hospital.
Please note:
You should expect to spend the majority of your time in the boarding area.
Schedule & Benefits:
Part-Time Positions:
Typically 2-3 weekdays per week, with alternating Saturdays and weekend comeback hours. Eligible for benefits after a 90-day probationary period, including: Pet care discounts.
