Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and experienced Animal Care Professional to oversee the daily upkeep of a private hobby farm in Sarasota, FL, and provide exceptional care for a variety of animals. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and has a strong understanding of animal care.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily care, feeding, and monitoring of farm animals including mini cows, mini donkeys, mini mules, goats, pigs, and poultry Assisting with seasonal projects, minor repairs Observing animals for signs of illness or injury and reporting concerns promptly Keeping farm buildings and outdoor spaces clean and organized Occasionally assisting with other property-related tasks
Requirements :
Prior experience with farm animal care Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in Florida weather conditions Strong communication and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable working around children and household pets
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time, Thursday through Monday (Tuesdays and Wednesdays off) with protentional to move into rotational weekend shifts. Competitive salary Weekend incentive pay Paid time off and opportunity for long-term growth within a supportive household team
