In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable space for our furry residents while delivering outstanding pet care services. Duties Provide daily care for animals including feeding, watering, exercise, and administering medications as needed Maintain cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas through regular sanitization and detailed cleaning routines Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their safety and comfort Monitor animal behavior and health, noting any changes or concerns to inform veterinary staff or management Assist with pet boarding, grooming, and pet sitting services to meet individual needs of each animal Support outdoor activities such as walking or playtime to promote physical activity and mental stimulation Collaborate with team members during heavy lifting or team lifting tasks to ensure safe handling of animals or supplies Requirements Prior experience working with animals in veterinary clinics, pet sitting, or kennel environments is highly preferred Knowledge of animal handling, behavior, and restraint techniques Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and team lifting safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Experience with pet grooming, cleaning routines, and sanitization practices in a pet care facility Outdoor work experience is a plus for outdoor walks or yard duties Demonstrated commitment to animal welfare, safety protocols, and facility cleanliness Join us in creating a welcoming environment where pets are cared for with compassion and professionalism. Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
