In this role, you will deliver top-quality grooming services that keep pets looking and feeling their best. Your expertise in pet coat styling, animal handling, and customer communication will ensure a positive experience for pets and their owners alike. This paid position offers the chance to showcase your grooming skills while providing exceptional pet care in a lively, supportive setting. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail trimming with precision and care Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure comfort and safety during grooming procedures Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, preferences, and aftercare instructions Maintain a clean and organized grooming station, ensuring all tools are sanitized and ready for use Assist with pet handling during grooming appointments, demonstrating gentle animal handling skills Support pet care activities such as animal restraint, pet sitting, and basic veterinary-related tasks when needed Engage with customers professionally to promote additional pet care services and products Skills Proven experience as a Pet Groomer or similar role with a focus on pet coat styling and grooming techniques Strong dog handling skills and animal restraint knowledge to ensure safe grooming sessions Familiarity with veterinary experience or veterinary technician/assistant background is a plus Knowledge of animal handling, pet nail trimming, and heavy lifting for larger animals or equipment Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members Ability to perform dog training or work with companion animals is advantageous Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for animal care and well-being Join us to make a difference in pets' lives while building your career in a vibrant environment that values your expertise!
