Odds & Ends, LLC is a professional, in-home pet sitting company serving Bartow County and the surrounding areas since 2013. We provide personalized pet sitting, dog walking, and limited overnight services, along with light home support such as bringing in mail and watering plants. We are licensed, bonded, and insured, focused on delivering reliable, compassionate service that gives clients peace of mind while offering our team meaningful, flexible work with pets in their own homes. About the
Role:
Part-time Starting pay: $11.48 per 30-minute visit, $16.67 per 60-minute visit Eligible for gratuity for completed visits and surcharge pay on designated holidays Build your own schedule - the more visits you are available for, the more you earn Duties include feeding, exercise, cleanup, and light home care (watering plants, bringing in mail, trash can duty) May help with overnight pet sitting if interested Must be willing and able to commute and work outdoors, in all weather conditions This role is best suited for those seeking flexible, part-time work, as visit volume can vary week to week and is not guaranteed
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age to apply. Must have your own reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and a clean driving history with current and adequate insurance coverage. A reliable smartphone with current, manufacturer-supported operating system software is required. The phone must be capable of receiving ongoing operating system and security updates and running the current versions of required company apps, including Time To Pet and Slack. Associates are responsible for maintaining a compatible, functional device throughout their employment. Must have a love for all types of animals but especially dogs and cats! Must be confident in problem-solving, and comfortable in handling stressful situations. Must be able to work independently, but also be a team player and participate in company or community events. Must be punctual, reliable, have excellent time management skills, and a strong work ethic. Availability across a range of visit times, including mornings, midday, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays is preferred, though not required, for every time period Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Must work during at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) each year. Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen (these are conditions of employment).
