Who This Position Is NOT For Those who prefer high-volume assembly line grooming. Those uncomfortable conducting comprehensive client consultations, owning the end-to-end appointment process, or communicating accidents and injuries. Those looking to isolate in a grooming suite and create their own policies. Those resistant to constructive coaching, process changes, or new operational technology. Compensation & Earning Potential We offer a 50% commission structure + 100% of your tips (average ticket price: $140+). Onboarding & Ramp-Up (2-3 Dogs/Day): $36,000•$54,000/yr base + tips Full-Time Pace (4-5 Dogs/Day): $70,000•$91,000/yr base + tips Top Earners (5-6 Dogs/Day): $105,000+ base + tips
Our Wish List Experience:
4-5 years of professional dog grooming experience; or 1-3 years of grooming experience + confidence and coachability
Cat Grooming :
a plus, but not required.
Styling Skills:
Versed in breed-standard styling, hand-scissoring, and proper coat prep, with a willingness to quickly adapt proprietary techniques, processes, and protocols.
Our Requirements Mindset:
Autonomous, level-headed, and prioritizes pet safety above all.
Handling Skills:
We are a physiologically-focused salon. Grooms are performed with awareness and control of pet response, comfort, and stress levels. Advanced techniques are trained; core handling skills are expected.
Professionalism:
Clean, neat, organized, and respectful of shared salon suites, policies, and equipment.
Founding Energy:
Excited to work directly alongside the owners as our very first founding team member, bringing curiosity and fortitude to our growing brand.
