Job Description

Paradise Kennels is looking for a Pet Bather (Groom Tech) to grow our team! At our salon we are proud to offer top quality products and services to our guests and education and opportunities for advancement to our staff.

Responsibilities:
Perform bathing services for pets of all sizes and breeds. Nail clipping and filing Brushing, deshedding, or dematting Coat drying specific to each pets needs Ear cleaning and plucking when needed. Completing pet evaluations and documenting any findings. Keeping workspace clean and disinfected. Contributing to the departments general housekeeping duties and tasks. Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in grooming or other animal care related fields is preferred but not required. Enjoys or desires to work with animals. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work well with others in a team-based environment. Good communication skills. Adaptability and the ability to work independently. Available Monday-Saturday. (Flexibility only between Tuesday- Thursday). Monday, Friday, Saturday are our busiest days. Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, kneel, reach overhead and lift a minimum of 60lbs. A desire to work in an environment with others who enjoy working with animals.

$10.00 - $12.00 per hour
