Shift Available Shifts available:
Full time and part time 2 pm to 10 pm Summary As a Kennel Technician at Wag Atlanta, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our furry guests. Located in Atlanta, GA, this position involves providing high-quality care, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe environment for all dogs in our facility. Responsibilities Provide daily care for dogs, including feeding, walking, Maintain cleanliness of the kennel area by cleaning and sanitizing enclosures and common areas. Monitor the health and behavior of the dogs to ensure their safety and well-being. Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing and brushing as required. Handle dogs with care during playtime and ensure they are socializing appropriately. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors. Cleaning and sanitizing play areas, turf, dens, suites, and facility (washing dishes, mopping floors, cleaning soiled areas, etc.) Making sure water is available to all dogs at all times Putting down meals Moving dogs safely around our facility Ensuring each dog receives scheduled potty breaks Filling in gaps and helping management with miscellaneous tasks Requirements Experience in animal care or working with dogs is preferred. Strong knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques. Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting as needed. Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and pet owners. A passion for animals and commitment to providing high-quality care.
