Job Description

Dog day care and boarding facility looking for a team lead who is energetic, has a positive attitude and an excellent attention to detail. Holidays are mandatory, and will change the above schedule during the holiday season. Flexibility is needed to ensure a lead is there every day.

Duties Include:
Speaking to guests to update about their pups stays or concerns Coaching team members providing guidance and insuring a positive work environment Training team members Expert with dog handling, dog behavior, and group play Will be an expert with our boarding software. Know and enforce all cleaning, safety, and dog handling procedures. They must be flexible, able to fill in and train all positions. They will work closely with the general manager and management team to ensure excellent care and customer service at all times. Administering and recording medications and vaccines. Being alert to any potential concerns with dogs in your care Other tasks that may be required throughout the day Leading a team, assigning tasks, and making sure they are completed Completing enrichment and training sessions Any other task needed, we work as a team. Our ideal candidate will have the following previous experience: At least two years working at a kennel or vet At least two years of kennel management experience At least one year working at a dog daycare At least one year of customer service experience Our ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics: A love for animals Leading by example Good time management Pays close attention to detail Able to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours a day Ability to multi-task Works well in a fast-paced environment Quickly learns and grasps new tasks and concepts Highly dependable Team player Takes direction Excellent communication Confidence in handling dogs Dependable transportation and attendance Benefits of employment at Wag Atlanta We are a family owned business, which allows for quick communication for concerns and ideas.
