Overnight Animal Care Specialist Available Schedule:
We have openings for 8 pm - 6 am shifts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday nights. Daytime training required for a few weeks. Our team members must be available to work during our peak times and on holidays. Wag Atlanta Pet Resort's Overnight Animal Care Specialist focus on insuring dog safety and well being, keeping facility clean, and assisting guests with check in and check outs.Primary duties consist of:
Handling guest needs. Check ins, check outs, and answering questions. Supervising and maintaining safety standards of all dogs in your care Cleaning and sanitizing play areas, dens, suites, and facility Making sure water is available to all dogs at all times Putting down meals Being alert to any potential concerns with dogs in your care Assisting guests with check in and outs Getting us ready for the next day Other tasks may be required throughout the day Our ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics: A love for animals Time management Pays close attention to detail Able to stand on your feet for 8-10 hours a day Ability to multi-task Works well in a fast-paced environment Quickly learns and grasps new tasks and concepts Highly dependable Team player Takes direction Excellent communication Confidence in handling dogs Dependable transportation and attendance Can work independently • Experience is ideal; however, we are willing to train the right applicant.
