Duties Provide attentive and compassionate care to dogs during their stay, including feeding, walking, and playtime activities Handle dogs safely using proper animal restraint techniques while ensuring their comfort and security Maintain cleanliness of kennels, pet boarding areas, and grooming stations through thorough sanitization and organization Assist with pet grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and basic trimming to keep animals looking their best Support pet owners with pet sitting services, including daily updates on their pets' behavior and well-being Monitor animal behavior closely to identify signs of stress or illness and communicate observations to veterinary staff as needed Assist with outdoor activities such as dog walks or play sessions in enclosed yards or outdoor spaces that promote exercise and mental stimulation Requirements Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician background preferred but not required; a strong passion for animal care is essential Experience in pet sitting, dog training, kennel work, or animal handling highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tasks such as moving supplies or assisting with large dogs Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Knowledge of pet grooming techniques and animal restraint methods is a plus Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong understanding of animal behavior and the ability to manage diverse temperaments confidently Join us if you're ready to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners!
