Job Description

Lucks Rescue Inc. is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dog Walker to support our team with hands-on care for animals in our rescue program. As a dog walker, you will play an essential role in ensuring the health, growth, and well-being of the animals in our care.
Responsibilities:
Spend quality time walking or playing with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Provide socialization support for shy, anxious, or anti-social dogs to help improve comfort and behavior around people and other animals. Assist with basic leash training and reinforcement of positive walking behaviors. Monitor dogs during walks and playtime to ensure safety, health, and well-being. Clean and sanitize kennels, play areas, or spaces where the dogs are housed. Promptly clean up pet waste to maintain a safe and hygienic environment. Communicate any behavioral concerns, injuries, or health issues to Audray Luck. Perform additional duties and assist with other tasks as directed by the supervisor to support operational needs.
Qualifications:
Experience in animal care, fieldwork, or related roles is preferred, but not required. Passion for animal welfare and the mission of Lucks Rescue Inc. Have a good understanding of body language in dogs. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and walking. Able to take initiative when needed.
Hours:
Morning walks: 9am -11am Evening walks: 3pm - 5pm
Pay:
From $10.00 per hour
