We bring professional grooming directly to our clients' homes, creating a convenient, personalized, and low-stress experience for both dogs and their owners. We're looking for an experienced, dependable, and confident dog groomer to join our team as an Independent Contractor. What You'll Do Provide professional grooming services for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and coat types Perform full-service grooms, baths, deshedding, nail trims, ear cleaning, and maintenance trims Safely handle dogs with a variety of temperaments and grooming needs Maintain a clean, organized, and professional grooming environment Communicate clearly and professionally with clients Provide a positive experience for every dog and owner Manage your grooming appointments efficiently and stay on schedule Maintain grooming equipment and help keep the mobile unit clean and organized Take photos of finished grooms for client communication and social media when appropriate What We're Looking For Previous professional dog grooming experience required Comfortable grooming dogs independently from start to finish Strong knowledge of breed-specific grooming and coat types Confident handling nervous, anxious, or difficult-to-handle dogs Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated Excellent customer service and communication skills Able to work independently without constant supervision Comfortable working in a mobile environment Professional appearance and attitude Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to travel throughout the Des Moines metro and surrounding areas Cat grooming experience preferred but not required Compensation Commission-based compensation Hourly pay available during training Keep 100% of your tips Opportunities to increase earnings as your schedule and clientele grow Additional earning opportunities for specialty services, including cat grooming Why FuzzBuzz?
