Auden's Dog Care is looking for an outgoing, responsible candidate to provide occasional pet and house sitting to its wide range of clients! As a contracted pet sitter you will stay in clients' homes and take exceptional care of their pet(s) and insure their homes are safe and clean while the owner is away. At ADC we strive to go above and beyond and treat clients' pets and homes as if they are our own. Duties Perform routine pet care tasks like feeding, walking, taking outside, administering of any medications, and cleaning of litter boxes or crates Ensure home is kept clean and tidy during your stay; leave the home as it was or cleaner when its time to leave Monitor household supplies and notify owners of any replenishment needs, maintenance issues Communicate regularly with homeowners regarding pet and house status, any concerns, or special instructions to ensure expectations are met or exceeded Provide location updates and progress reports with ADC regarding pet, home, and any assistance needed to provide quality care Must complete a basic background check Requirements Reliable transportation and flexibility to accommodate varying schedules or extended house sitting periods; must be available during holidays (Thanksgiving and Christmas) Relevant experience caring for dogs and cats High-school diploma or equivalent Must have or make a Rover.com account Appropraote uniform items will be provided and must be worn while interacting with clients and when on walks Pay Pay will be given as a percentage of the total service cost, not as an hourly wage You keep 100% of the tips you make Bonus pay during holidays This role offers an engaging opportunity for responsible individuals passionate about animals.
