In this vital role, you will lead grooming sessions, ensure each pet receives personalized and professional styling, and uphold the highest standards of animal care and customer service. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where pets feel comfortable and owners leave satisfied. As a leader in grooming, you will mentor other groomers, coordinate grooming schedules, and maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. This is an exciting opportunity for someone dedicated to enhancing pet appearance and well-being while fostering positive relationships with pet owners. Duties Supervise and support a small team of groomers and front desk Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to maintain quality grooming services and a positive work environment Manage grooming schedules to maximize salon capacity, productivity, and coverage during peak hours Serve as a point of contact for groomers and customers when questions or concerns arise Assist customers with questions, bookings, and service requests while ensuring satisfaction with grooming results Address customer feedback, complaints, and policy-related fees professionally and promptly Maintain salon cleanliness, organization, and safety standards Monitor grooming supply inventory and communicate restocking needs in advance Troubleshoot basic store issues as they arise Assist with customer payments and help team members determine appropriate service pricing Monitor salon performance (productivity and customer satisfaction) and help identify opportunities for improvement Evaluate each dog's grooming needs based on coat type, skin condition, and temperament to ensure safe, quality care
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Dog Groomer
- 1+ years of experience as a Lead or Supervisor position
- Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to safely restrain pets when necessary
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) such as large dogs
