Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated doggie daycare attendant/animal caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and their health. You will be providing supervision and support to daycare dogs in an indoor and outdoor facility, as well as playing a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of animals in our care by maintaining a clean and safe environment. Must be 18 or older to apply, aka out of high school Ability to work varied weekday and weekend shifts required.

Duties:

• Supervise dog interactions
• Interact with animals to provide socialization and enrichment
• Do crafts and activities with the daycare dogs
• Observe and report behavioral and/or health issues
• Experience or knowledge of dog body language
• Take care of animals boarding ( clean kennels, feed, take outside)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work quickly
• Affection and care for the animals and their welfare
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs for short distances
• Ability to work in a kennel environment, maintaining cleanliness and organization
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions
