Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Grooming Salon Manager to lead our pet grooming team with passion and professionalism. In this role, you will oversee daily salon operations, ensure exceptional pet grooming services, and foster a welcoming environment for pet owners and their beloved animals. Your leadership will inspire a team of skilled groomers, maintain high standards of animal care, and deliver outstanding customer service. Duties Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling appointments and supporting grooming staff as well as clean the salon, communicate between clients and groomers Ensure all pets receive safe, humane handling, including animal restraint and pet coat styling Oversee pet grooming procedures such as pet nail trimming, bathing, trimming, and styling to meet client expectations Maintain high standards of animal care and safety during grooming sessions, including heavy lifting and animal handling techniques Communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs, pet health considerations, and aftercare instructions Monitor inventory levels of grooming supplies and maintain cleanliness of the salon environment Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming with a strong background in dog handling and animal care Knowledge of veterinary procedures or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable Familiarity with veterinary assistant roles is a plus Strong communication skills to interact confidently with pet owners and team members Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling large or heavy dogs Experience in pet coat styling, pet grooming techniques, and animal restraint methods Passion for animal welfare combined with excellent customer service skills Certification or training in dog training, grooming or veterinary-related fields is advantageous HUGE advantage for candidates with experience using GINGR software Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to providing top-tier grooming services while ensuring the safety and happiness of every animal. From $20.00 per hour
