An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

We are a purpose and values driven company. The Pet Care Specialist position interacts directly with the pets in our care. Our furry guest's health, happiness, and well-being are of the utmost importance in this position. Some of this positions responsibilities include: Cleaning the pets' rooms Preparing and serving meals to the pets in our care Excersizing the pets in our care on play times and other activities Close monitering of our guests' health and well-being
Skills:
The ability to control the movements of pets of all sizes You must also be able to be able to present a positive, happy and caring attitude at all times
Qualifications:
Past experience working with dogs is not a requirement but a love for animals is a must! Detail oriented Shifts are a variety of morning and afternoon shifts. Does require weekends & holidays Morning shifts start at 7:30 am and go until 12:00 pm or done which can be as late as 1:30•2:00 pm Afternoon shifts start between 4:30 & 5:30 pm and go until 7:30 pm or done which can be as late as 8:30•9:00 pm
