  • Part-time Pet Patrol delivers award winning dog walking and pet sitting services with a strong emphasis on providing all employees and pet clients with a save environment.
We are licensed, bonded, and insured and our staff go through an onboarding process that prepares them to work with new animals. We assign primary walkers to our clients and we only offer private dog walks, no group walks. Pet Patrol offers a rewarding opportunity to work hands-on with animals while also providing the skill sets needed to build a professional animal focused career. The coverage area for this route for this job ad is for Palos, Orland, Tinley and surrounding areas. Availability should include weekends, some evenings and holidays. As a Pet Care Pro at Pet Patrol, you will play a vital role in the well-being of pets in our community. Your responsibilities will include dog walking, pet sitting, and providing quality care for all other pets

This position is perfect for animal lovers who want to make a positive impact in the lives of pets and their owners. Responsibilities Walk dogs of various sizes and temperaments, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Provide pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and companionship. Handle animals with care and ensure proper restraint when necessary. Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs and behaviors. Maintain cleanliness in pet areas and ensure all supplies are stocked and organized. Requirements Experience in dog handling or working with animals is preferred. Strong customer service skills to build rapport with pet owners. Ability to lift dogs or cats (up to 40lbs) as required for pet care tasks. Knowledge of animal behavior and basic animal care practices is a plus. Certification in veterinary assistance or grooming is an advantage but not mandatory.
