An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Pay & Schedule We offer a competitive compensation structure designed to reward your skills and productivity: Commission-based pay for full grooms Hourly pay for additional services Earning potential: Successful groomers can earn $50,000+ annually, with higher earning potential based on productivity and client retention.
Schedule:

Responsibilities include:
Performing full grooms, including haircuts, bathing, and nail care Ensuring each pet's comfort, safety, and well-being Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming (SPAW) environment Following strict hygiene and safety protocols Accurately charting grooming details and communicating with the Client Services Team With support from our Pet Care Technicians and Client Service Specialists , you'll be able to focus on delivering excellent grooming services. What We're Looking For Minimum qualifications: At least 2 years of grooming experience Basic computer skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
