Job Type:

Full-Time | Direct Hire We are seeking a Batch Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing coatings and related products according to established batch ticket instructions and quality standards. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be safety-conscious, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required while performing applicable job duties. This is a direct-hire position and is not through a temporary staffing agency. What You'll Do Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Measure and prepare raw materials for batch manufacturing Inspect equipment and tools before use Manufacture products according to batch ticket instructions and established procedures Accurately document batch progress and other pertinent production information Operate manufacturing equipment safely, effectively, and efficiently Perform product-specific quality control activities as assigned Train other Batch Operators as assigned Label containers and finished products as assigned Fill and package products for tolling accounts as assigned Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance Stock, organize, and locate inventory as needed Assist other members of the Plant Department with various tasks and projects Complete required production and time-allocation records Perform other duties as assigned by management Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred 1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred; experience in the coatings industry is a plus Forklift certification is required after hire and must be renewed annually Basic computer skills Basic math skills Familiarity with production equipment and manufacturing processes Ability to follow written procedures, batch instructions, and directions from management Strong attention to detail and time-management skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work assignments Ability to develop and maintain positive, cooperative working relationships with coworkers Physical Requirements This position is a hands-on manufacturing role and requires the ability to: Communicate effectively through speech, vision, and hearing Use hands and arms for grasping, fine manipulation, and reaching Stand for extended periods of time Frequently sit, walk, drive, and climb ladders and stairs Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds Occasionally move heavy drums weighing approximately 700 pounds , using appropriate equipment and established safety procedures Wear required personal protective equipment while performing applicable job duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.
