In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. The ideal candidate will have experience bathing pets, cutting nails, and finishing bath dogs in a professional setting and have a genuine love for animals and the ability to handle various breeds with care and professionalism. Responsibilities Gently bathe and rinse pets, ensuring their cleanliness and comfort. Dry pets using towels or dryers, being mindful of their anxiety levels. Inspect pets for any skin issues, parasites, or abnormalities and report findings to the management. Maintain a clean and organized bathing area, including sanitizing equipment after each use. Assist in animal restraint during grooming procedures as needed. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about their pets' needs. Skills Proficient in animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming. Strong dog handling skills with the ability to manage various breeds and temperaments. Knowledge of pet care practices, including bathing techniques and skin care. Familiarity with animal handling protocols in kennel or grooming environments. Ability to provide compassionate care for animals while maintaining a calm demeanor. We open Tuesdays at 11 and 9 Wednesday-Saturdays. Hours vary depending on days.
