Job Doggie Divine Pet Salon is looking for an experienced groomer to join our team Applicant must have experience and be able to perform all standard breed cuts and non breed cuts and be able to properly wash and blow dry specific coat types as well without support. If you are newly out of school and need support to perform grooms , please do not apply for this position. Must possess kind, compassionate handling skills and emotional empathy and respect for each and every animal. Must be able to groom independently, read notes from prior grooms and communicate styles and grooming options effectively with clients. Must have excellent customer service Must be a team player. Must work well with others. Our hours are 11-6 on Tuesdays 9-5 Wednesday - Saturday. We are closed for a week after Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Years. We do not work Christmas Eve. You can leave after you have finished your last dog and have cleaned up your station. We are a high end, open concept ( few dogs out and about) boutique grooming salon that has been in business since 2002. Our prices are high. For example our shitzus start at $85-95 and doodles at $150-200 with extremely high tipping clients Receptionist is on staff to answer calls and check in and out clients and bather support. Must have excellent time management and be aware how long dog is on your table and be able to produce quality work Applicant must have a portfolio of work before being considered. If considered , a paid working interview may possibly be conducted. Applicant must have reliable transportation.
