Closing time is 7:00pm, but it may take additional time to complete end-of-day tasks. Job Summary We are a very busy grooming, boarding and daycare facility. We are looking for upbeat, friendly individual who can manage multiple tasks at a time. The job is fast paced , involving long periods of time standing/moving on your feet, handling all dog breeds with varying temperaments, communicating and interacting with clients, and cleaning. We are open for grooming Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, but schedules can sometimes change due to holidays or needs of the shop so we ask you have some flexibility when necessary. Daily job duties include, but are not limited to: Checking in and out clients Cleaning daily/maintaining cleanliness of the shop Handling cash/credit transactions Taking a high volume of phone calls to help book grooming reservations Answering client questions and communicating with groomers about client desires when necessary Asides from taking phone calls, you will rarely be sitting for this position. "Reception" can be misleading, as this is not a sit-down desk job. However, it requires many of the same skills & abilities of a desk receptionist.
