Job Summary:
Looking to hire for morning and evening shift, part time. Business hours are M-F 6:30am to 6pm. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team at Paw-sitive Vibes Dog Daycare. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision for dogs in our daycare facility. This role involves close observation of dogs, engaging in daily activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for all pets.Key Responsibilities:
- Closely observe dogs to monitor their behavior, health, and well-being throughout the day.
- Facilitate daily activities, including playtime, socialization, and exercise.
- Take dogs on walks and provide potty breaks as needed.
- Clean up after dogs and maintain a tidy environment, including indoor and outdoor areas.
- Sanitize facilities and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy space for all pets.
- Report any concerns regarding dog behavior or health to the management team promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of the dogs and staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pet care or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- A genuine love for dogs and a commitment to their care and safety.
- Must be able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
