Responsibilities Supervise daily kennel operations, including pet feeding, cleaning, grooming, and exercise routines to ensure optimal animal health and happiness Manage team schedules, delegate tasks efficiently, and provide training on animal handling, restraint techniques, and sanitation protocols Oversee pet boarding procedures, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety standards for animals in our care Maintain high standards of cleanliness by implementing sanitization practices for kennels, common areas, and equipment in accordance with pet care facility regulations Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and compassion, providing information about pet services and addressing concerns promptly Monitor animal behavior to identify signs of stress or illness; coordinate veterinary assistance or technician support as needed Conduct regular inspections of kennel facilities to ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health standards Experience Proven veterinary experience or veterinary technician background with knowledge of animal health management Previous kennel experience or pet sitting roles demonstrating hands-on animal handling skills Experience in veterinary assisting or dog training to enhance behavioral management capabilities Strong background in animal care routines including grooming, restraint techniques, and behavior assessment Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work comfortably while maintaining safety protocols Excellent customer service skills combined with a passion for pet welfare and client communication Familiarity with pet boarding procedures, sanitation standards, and facility maintenance practices Join us in creating a welcoming environment where animals thrive and clients trust us to provide top-tier care.
