An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

Job Description
- Starts at $12.50/hour base, typically $14-17/hour with tips and mileage
- W-2 position with holiday pay (1.5x) and referral bonuses Schedule
- Weekdays, roughly 6:00am-3:00pm
- Additional positions and locations may be available through our website.
- Most team members work part-time hours, with more hours available seasonally (spring break, summer, holidays). Some team members become Full-Time.
- Evening/weekend availability is a plus but not required What You'll Do
- Visit clients' homes for pet sitting, dog walking, feeding, and potty breaks
- Poop scoop yards
- Keep clients and the team updated What You'll Need
- 18+, live in Newton, North Newton, or Hesston
- Reliable insured vehicle and a smartphone
- Comfortable with dogs and cats, plus other pets
- Able to work independently and pass a background check
- Two work references
- Willing to commit to at least 12 months
- Able to walk several miles, climb stairs, bend/kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs, in all weather About Us Locally owned and operated in Harvey County since 2010.
Pay:
$12.50- $16.
