In this role, you will provide exceptional care for a variety of pets, ensuring they receive daily exercise, companionship, and comfort. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on pets' lives while enjoying flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment. Duties Take dogs on invigorating walks, ensuring proper exercise and mental stimulation tailored to each pet's needs Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and maintaining routines Monitor animal behavior during walks and visits to ensure safety and well-being Handle animal restraint safely during grooming or veterinary visits as needed Communicate regularly with pet owners about their pets' activities, health status, and any concerns Maintain cleanliness of pet areas and ensure all equipment is sanitized and well-maintained Requirements Previous experience with dog training, handling, or animal behavior management preferred Veterinary experience or background as a veterinary technician or assistant is highly desirable Knowledge of animal restraint techniques and pet care best practices Ability to handle animals safely during outdoor work and heavy lifting when necessary Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members Genuine love for animals with a proactive attitude toward their safety and happiness Flexibility to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to different pet routines Join us if you're eager to bring energy, compassion, and professionalism to the world of pet care! $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
