Kennel Attendant Toureen Pet Resort and Spa Watertown, MA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $18 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Pet care Outdoor work experience Dog handling Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description Kennel Attendant / Daycare Assistant Toureen Pet Resort & Spa is seeking a dependable, hardworking Kennel Attendant to care for boarding pets and assist in dog daycare as needed. Responsibilities Feed pets and provide fresh water, clean bedding, and toys. Walk dogs and safely move pets throughout the facility. Clean and disinfect kennels, bowls, floors, and play areas. Monitor pets for changes in health or behavior and report concerns. Follow all feeding, medication, and special-care instructions. Complete laundry, dishes, trash removal, and general cleaning. Supervise daycare groups and monitor dogs for safe play. Remove waste, refill water, and check play areas for hazards. Help introduce new dogs and separate dogs when necessary. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions. Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Previous animal-care experience is helpful but not required. Requirements Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
