  • Prepare dog food/medication if necessary
  • Handle a variety of different dogs (various Breeds, sizes, temperaments etc.)
  • Learn appropriate handling and training techniques. Learning training skills is an opportunity for advancement.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Use pressure washing to maintain and restore floor surfaces
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
  • Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
  • Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
  • Clean and maintain outdoor yards Qualifications
  • Previous experience in some sort of dog field
  • Knowledge of dog behavior and confidence handling dogs
  • Ability to follow cleaning schedules and instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties within specified timeframes
  • Effective communication skills to interact with supervisors
  • Dependability with attendance to shifts
