An Animal Care Worker or Manager manages animal care and grooming for a retail store that sells pets or for a pet grooming business. May also provide animal care and grooming at a kennel. Works with animals in shelters or rescue organizations. Works primarily with dogs and cats. Assists veterinarians with vaccinations or other procedures; screens people who want to adopt an animal from a shelter and provides information about caring for animals.

We're especially looking for help on Sundays — whether you want a single Sunday shift or want to make weekends your main gig, we'd love to have you. Want to boost your paycheck? Evening shifts (6:00-9:00 PM), Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays typically pay more than our average hourly range thanks to premium service fees — some of the best shifts to add if you're looking to maximize your earnings.

7:00 AM•3:00 PM (core workload typically falls between 10:00 AM•2:00 PM)
PM Shift:
2:00 PM•9:00 PM (core workload typically falls between 2:00 PM•6:00 PM) You can pick up a single shift, a few days a week, or build a full schedule — including that Sunday shift we're hoping to fill. Perfect for a side gig, too: Have a full-time job but still want to earn extra income doing something you love? Many of our pet sitters build a full week around their 9-to-5 — think a morning visit before work and an evening visit after, seven days a week if you want it. It's flexible, it fits around your schedule (not the other way around), and it adds up fast, especially with premium weekend and evening pay. How much can you work? Most of our walkers and sitters complete 4-8 visits a day, which adds up quickly — especially when you factor in premium pay for evenings, weekends, and holidays. What you'll be doing: Walking dogs and providing drop-in pet sitting visits for our wonderful clients Following personalized care plans for each pet Communicating with pet parents through our scheduling app Being a trustworthy, positive presence in our clients' homes and lives What we're looking for: A genuine love of animals and comfort working with dogs of all sizes and temperaments Reliability — our clients count on us, and so do we Ability to work outdoors in all seasons A valid driver's license and reliable transportation Availability on Sundays, evenings, or holidays is a big plus
