Job Description:
- Dogtown Maryland is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual for a part-time position at our boarding kennel. This role is ideal for dog lovers who are eager to learn and grow within the kennel business. While prior experience is a plus, we are open to training the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain kennels to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for our furry guests.
- Supervise dog playtime, ensuring safety and fun for all dogs involved.
- Assist in training dogs and reinforcing positive behaviors.
- Maintain the kennel grounds, keeping the area clean and organized.
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and visitors.
- Utilize basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
Qualifications:
- Passion for dogs and a desire to work in the pet industry.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Strong commitment to building a career in the pet care field.
