Duties Provide attentive pet sitting services, including feeding, walking, administering medications, and engaging pets in stimulating activities Handle animals safely using proper restraint techniques to ensure their well-being and staff safety Assist with dog training sessions to promote good behavior and socialization skills Support veterinary teams with basic procedures, animal restraint, and care tasks based on veterinary experience or technician background Perform animal handling across different species such as dogs, cats, and horses, ensuring gentle and effective management Maintain cleanliness of kennels and pet areas while adhering to health and safety standards Offer pet grooming services when needed to keep animals comfortable and presentable Engage with pet owners professionally to provide updates on their pets' status and answer questions about care routines Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to equipment or supplies necessary for daily operations Qualifications Prior experience in veterinary assisting or technician roles is highly desirable Strong knowledge of dog training techniques and animal handling skills Experience with veterinary procedures or veterinary technology is a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for equipment or supplies Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and team members Familiarity with pet grooming practices and kennel management is preferred Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Passion for animal care combined with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills Embark on a rewarding career where your love for animals fuels every task!
