Position Overview:
We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our dynamic team in multiple roles, including Dog Daycare Counselors, Dog Daycare Guest Representatives, and Dog Kennel Attendants.
Core Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor dog playgroups, ensuring safety and engagement. Facilitate enrichment activities and individual/group play to stimulate dogs mentally and physically. Build strong relationships with dogs, understanding their behaviors and preferences. Maintain a clean and safe environment, including regular cleaning of kennels and common areas. Assist with client interactions, checking dogs in/out, and addressing any concerns. Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in dog behavior and positive reinforcement. Deliver a welcoming, professional experience for pet parents Greet clients and safely transport dogs to cabins Move dogs to and from playgroups during morning rotations
Ideal Candidate:
Experience in dog care, preferably in daycare, boarding, or training environments (Only for Dog Counsolor role). Job seekers who can follow safety protocols are encouraged to apply. A passion for dog welfare and a commitment to a fear-free approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. A positive, friendly demeanor and a willingness to learn and grow. Additional Requirement (Dog Daycare Counselor Role): Only candidates with prior professional experience in dog care or a related field will be considered for the Dog Daycare Counselor position.
Work Environment:
This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. The environment can be noisy and requires close interaction with dogs at all times. Physical activity is essential, including walking dogs, cleaning, and possibly lifting up to 50 pounds.
Schedule:
Shifts are available from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM, 7 days a week.
For reference:
Kennel Attendants (2 Roles): (Full-time) Will include closing shifts generally ranging from 12/1 pm to 8/9 pm Tues - SAT, and (Part-time) 6 am-2 pm or 12 pm to 8 pm
Thurs/Fri/Mon Dog Daycare Counselor:
8am-4pm/9am-5pm
MON-SUN Dog Daycare Guest Representative :
Monday through Friday, 7 am to 1/3 pm (Depending on staffing needs) Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings is required. As a boarding facility, we are open 365 days per year.\
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive pay ranging $17-$19 per hour based on relevant experience. (Only candidates with relvelant prior professional experience will qualify for the higher end of the pay range.) 401(k) plan eligibility and health insurance for full-time employees.
