We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Animal Care Associate to join our team. As a team member, you will be responsible for caring for a variety of pets while they are lodging with us, or joining our group Dog Day Care team. An ideal candidate will bring prior experiences in animal care and Dog Day Care dynamics to the team. Responsibilities:
Provide care, including feeding, walking, brushing and playing with pets according to their specific needs Work as a part of the Dog Day Care team to engage with pups which are in a group setting to assure safety and fun is being had! Must Love to play with pups! Administer medications or treatments as instructed by pet owners Join our Lobby team to greet in coming Pet Guests and their parents. Clean litter boxes, kennels, or other pet areas as needed Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the pet owner Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners regarding pet care routines and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets Document appropriately medications, feeding, & bowel charting throughout the pets stay.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a team in a Dog Day Care setting is preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments Flexibility in scheduling and working well with others Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately Please note that heavy lifting may be required in some cases, such as when handling larger dogs

$13.73 - $15.00 per hour
