- We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team at Paws 'n Pads!
Responsibilities:
Monitor the health and safety of all dogs in the daycare. Provide positive reinforcement and guidance to all dogs in the daycare. Clean up after the dogs and maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Ensure that all dogs are properly socialized with other dogs in the daycare. Feed all animals regular meals and administer medications. Enforce safety rules and regulations.- Starting wages for general staff, Doggy Daycare Attendant, are between $13.75-$15 based on experience and availability (Do you have experience at a doggy daycare? Are you available for part-time or full-time hours and how flexible is your schedule?)

- Must be 18 or older
- We are open on holidays so all employees are required to work some holidays, we want to make it fair for everyone to take turns working each holiday (example: if you don't work Thanksgiving you will likely have to work Christmas Day)
- Flexible shift options available including Overnights
- We can schedule shifts around school and other job schedules, but must provide a set schedule for availability - must have 2 weeks notice for requests off outside of your set availability (not all requests can be guaranteed if there are prior requests, etc.)
- Looking for diligent employees that do not call off or change availability frequently, it is very hard to get shifts covered and we need to have people on-site to care for the dogs!
- This is a very physical and messy job: Requires interaction with dogs of all sizes, bruises and scratches will happen! Requires lots of cleaning up after the dogs and around the facility - including: mopping accidents, scooping poops, washing dishes and laundry, scrubbing floors and walls, dusting and wiping surfaces, cleaning bathroom, etc.
- Must have reliable transportation (this can greatly affect scheduling and no-shows that can't get covered)
- Non-smokers only (smell irritates the dogs, customers, and fellow employees)
