Responsibilities Travel to clients' homes or designated locations to perform pet grooming services, including bathing, trimming, brushing, and styling. Handle animals with care and confidence, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout grooming sessions. Use your animal handling skills to properly restrain pets during grooming procedures while minimizing stress. Provide pet care advice and communicate effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and pet health considerations. Maintain a clean, safe grooming environment by sanitizing tools and equipment after each session. Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximize productivity and client satisfaction. Stay informed about the latest grooming techniques, pet health trends, and safety protocols to deliver top-quality service. Skills Valid Drivers license Proven 2-3 years experience in pet grooming, dog handling, or animal care roles such as veterinary technician or assistant. Strong knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is highly desirable. Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments with patience and confidence. Excellent customer service skills to build trust with pet owners and address their concerns professionally. Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing detailed grooming tasks. Familiarity with animal restraint methods, pet sitting practices, kennel experience, and general pet care procedures.
