Fulltime Qualifications:
At least 2 years of professional dog grooming experience Competent in grooming all levels of dog grooming-from bathing to breed pattern haircuts Capable of grooming at least 6 dogs per 8 hour shift Exceptional customer service skills Exceptional interpersonal skills Demonstrate competency to assess coat and skin conditions, nail condition, need for teeth brushing, need for special service like deshedding, special shampoos and special handling (senior dog, disabled dog, possible aggression) Skilled at relationship building with grooming customers

Capable of grooming most breeds Maintains safe grooming practices at all times Effort to build a loyal clientele/repeat business Mentors bathers and develops junior staff Positive representation of Stone Mountain Pet Lodge Meets financial goals of the salon Available weekdays and weekends
Physical Requirements:
Stand for extended periods of time Lift up to 50 pounds Able to bend, squat, kneel, push, pull with no difficulties Ability to work safely with active dogs Benefits Health Insurance (medical, dental and vision available to employees that maintain an average of 30 hours per week) Paid Time Off (PTO)-Those working 40 hours per week Immediate employee discount on products and services Please note, all potential candicates will be required to complete a technical interview. Must supply your own dog. Stone Mountain Pet Lodge will provide all the product. Must be a full groom including: nails, ears, teeth brushing, bath, blowdry and haircut.
