WEEKEND SHELTER ATTENDANT
Love dogs and cats? Looking for a meaningful weekend-only job where you can make a difference? Humane Society of the Lakes is looking for a dependable, caring, and energetic animal lover to join our team as a Shelter Attendant . What you'll do: Care for shelter dogs and cats Feed animals and provide fresh water Clean kennels, cages, litter boxes, and common areas Walk, exercise, and socialize dogs Provide enrichment and daily attention Monitor animal health and behavior Assist visitors and potential adopters Help with weekend shelter operations We're looking for someone who: Loves animals and animal welfare Is reliable, responsible, and hardworking Is comfortable handling animals of different sizes and temperaments Can lift up to 50 pounds Can handle an active, physical work environment Is 18 years of age or older Previous animal care experience is a plus, but training is provided
Schedule:
Weekend-only position Every other weekend required Every other holiday required
Starting Pay:
