Job Description

Dog Pack Daycare attendant Must be 18 years of age and available during the day Mon - Friday plus rotating weekends. Come join the Fissan Team where we are in the business of educating people and pets. Providing doggy daycare with structure, boarding, training, grooming and dog supplies
REQUIRED
Comfortable with large breeds including working dogs i.e. Bully Breeds, German Shepherds. Must have experience or be a quick study with dog body language and managing a pack of 10 plus dogs. This position will require comfort with packs of 15 per person. Just owning a dog is does not equal this type of experience. Must have experience working with dogs of all ages and sizes. Must understand balanced training techniques with emphasis on body language, positive reinforcement and minimal correction to stop undesired behaviors. Daycare dogs are managed to maintain appropriate play, basic manners and reduced barking. This position is not just playing with dogs all day, you will be responsible for maintaining structure in your assigned pack. Up to 8-10 hours per day M-F with a rotating weekend schedules. Openers as early as 6:15 am. Weekend rotation to assist with boarding dogs. Duties may include but are not limited to: Checking in clients Retail customer service Supervising day care dogs. Attending to boarding dogs. Training assistant Cleaning kennels, dog yards, supplies and environment Ability to lift 50# Must attend dog training sessions during first 6-10 weeks of employment
Hours:
up to 30 + hours per week shifts vary. Openers start at 6:15 am - 7 a,. Must have weekend and holiday availability. Pay based on experience and availability.
