Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced Dog Part Time Groomer for a mobile grooming position serving Plaza, Brookside, and surrounding Kansas City neighborhoods . This role is perfect for groomers who want higher earnings, predictable schedules, and a low-stress alternative to salon grooming. You'll provide one-on-one grooming services in a clean, fully equipped mobile grooming van , allowing you to focus on quality grooming without distractions. Responsibilities Perform professional dog grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling Provide safe and compassionate animal handling using proper restraint techniques Use veterinary-approved grooming tools and products Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming van Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming services Maintain accurate grooming records and notes Work independently as a solo mobile groomer Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of professional dog grooming experience required Strong understanding of dog breeds, coat types, and grooming standards Ability to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable working independently Valid Driver's License required Must be 21 years of age or older Pay and Benefits $700 + per week for Part Time Hours Commission-based pay Tips and performance bonuses Flexible scheduling Day shifts only Work Location Mobile grooming routes based in Plaza / Brookside Kansas City Routes kept local whenever possible
